Lauren Alaina

Lauren Alaina, an American singer-songwriter and dancer who also acts, was the second runner up in season 10 of American Idol. She has released a number of albums, performances and singles, such as Buckwild Lady during the 1990s. Georgia Peaches' Next Boyfriend Doin' Fin, and the song Eighteen Inches.

Aaliyah Daniel Haughton exploded into fame in 1994 when she released her debut album Age Ain't Nothing But an Numer. The album, released when she only had 15 years of age, went Gold. This collaboration, heavily influenced R. Kelly's musical style, made her a star. In 1996, she debuted her sophomore album One In A Million with Jermaine dupri and Timbaland. It contained the top-selling track If Your Girl only knew. After the debut of the album Aaliyah gained international attention for her performance as an R&B performer. In 2000 she appeared as a character in Romeo Must Die, a romantic action film with Jet-Li. Her role came about when she was spotted by the film's director Joel Silver at an awards show.
