Winona-Ryder

Winona Ryder (born Winona Laura Hornowitz) was born in Winona Minnesota. She was named by her parents for the town where she was raised in. Michel Horowitz' father was an editor and writer, as were Cynthia Palmer and her mother. Ryder is a Jewish. Ryder believes that her father was from an ethnically Jewish origin. Ryder is also half-sister to Sunyata Jubal. Her older sibling is Uria. Ryder was born in the United States and moved with her family to Mendocino County California at the age of seven. They didn't have electricity. The books on television was her only source of entertainment to spend the time and she became an avid reader. Ryder aged 12 enrolled at the American Conservatory Theatre for acting classes in 1983. Lucas The film from 1986 which was her first big part. Ryder was just fifteen when she landed the role. Ryder was bullied at high school. Her acting career, she hoped to help, could have helped her. Sadly that didn't happen. She continued to pursue her dreams. In 1988 she had her big break in Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder was able to continue her successful performances in various films. In 1993, Ryder was nominated two times for Academy Awards.
