Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian actress best recognized for her role as a character in the Freeform fantasy series Shadowhunters and the Venevision television series Cosita linda as well as Voltea pa' you are awestruck. Model and dancer by profession Toubia also has achieved success in both fields. She was born in Montreal and has resided in Texas from the time she was a child and has always loved doing shows. From a young age, she has studied a variety different styles of dancing. As she reached the age of 15 old, she started competing in beauty pageants. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia became famous after she won a spot on Nuestra Belleza Latina in 2008. She made her acting debut in the year 2010, playing a receptionist in an episode of Telemundo's television show Aurora. In 2015, she was in her first feature film, an action drama called Tattooed Love.
